Living in Saskatchewan Communities: A Quality of Life Study (February 2010):
The CIF commissioned Insightrix Research, Inc. to study Saskatchewan residents' perceptions of access to, and use of, programs and services in their communities and to assess their perceptions of their community and personal quality of life. Over 4,000 residents completed the survey from May to August 2009.
"Results of the study will be used to inform the Community Initiatives Fund's granting programs," CIF Executive Director Tracey Mann said. "The findings will also be valuable to organizations, municipalities, community groups -- anyone involved in planning for and delivering programs and services in their community or region. Our hope is that the study will serve as a catalyst for collaborative dialogue and response to what residents have said about their communities."
CIF Stakeholder Survey Reports (August 2009):
The CIF collaborated with the Ministry of Tourism, Parks, Culture and Sport to survey three groups of CIF stakeholders from November 2008 to March 2009. The surveys measured stakeholders' perspectives about the CIF grant process; residents' perceptions of access to, and use of, programs and services in their communities and to assess their perceptions of both their community and personal quality of life.
