This scenic landscape offers a superb setting for recreation, play and relaxation which is located on the NE shore of Chitek Lake.  This beautiful lake provides endless opportunities for everyone such as:  excellent sport fishing renowned for its Walleye, great boating activities, playgrounds, campground, and picnic areas.

The sandy beach area has the most spectacular view of the lake.  The area is home to a couple of Osprey which have been nesting here for the past ten years.  There is an abundance of wildlife and birds in the area.  It is not uncommon to see bears, deer, elk, moose, coyotes, wolves, foxes, woodchucks, beaver, muskrats, otter, fisher and more than 75 species of birds.

Within a short driving distance from the campground there are 15 crystal lakes with excellent fishing, picnicking spots, and camping opportunities.  The most common species of fish found in these lakes are:  Walleye, Northern Pike, Perch, Brook Trout, Rainbow Trout, Lake Trout, Whitefish, and Splake.

Relax in the camping ground while enjoying the sites and sounds of the park.

One campground with 44 sites:

• Electric Sites:  26 (near a service centre)
• Non-electric Sites:  18 (near a service centre)

Seasonal Camping

Chitek Lake offers seasonal camping spots. 

Seasonal camping is available at this park in 2009.  The sites are distributed through a lottery system.  The seasonal camping draw is now complete for this year; successful applicants will be notified.  Thank you for your interest in the seasonal camping program.  The Seasonal Camping rates and rules are available here.

In-Park Services

There are no services within the site.  The nearby resort village of Chitek Lake has several businesses and offers most amenities.
