Find A Park Cumberland House Provincial Park
Cumberland House Provincial Park is the site of the first inland Hudson's Bay Company post and the oldest village in the province. Today, the only visible remnant of the post is the thick, stone-walled, 1890s powder house, which was used for storing gunpowder. Parts of the Northcote, a steamboat used by the fur trade and at Batoche during the North-West Resistance, are also preserved at the park. CampingNo facilities are available.
