About the Heritage Conservation Branch Mission, Goals and ObjectivesWeyburn Court House (C. Fehr 2004) Vision: In Saskatchewan, heritage resources are valued, respected, celebrated and understood; their presence enhances our quality of life and contributes to the cultural, economical, environmental and social sustainability of our communities. Mission: To facilitate heritage resource protection and conservation and foster a culture of heritage stewardship. Goals and ObjectivesGoal 1: Heritage resources are identified, protected and managed for the benefit, enjoyment and use of present and future generations.
Goal 2: Heritage conservation is factored into public policy and decision-making.
Goal 3: Local governments, Aboriginal communities, and others have the capacity to identify, conserve and manage heritage resources.
Goal 4: Saskatchewan people are aware of and engaged with heritage resources.
Goal 5: Public service in provincial heritage programming is of the highest quality.
