Saskatchewan Parks - Moose Mountain

The village of Kenosee Lake is adjacent to Moose Mountain Provincial Park.  Located just metres from the park entry gate, the village is within walking or biking distance from the main beach.

Moose Mountain Brewing Co.

Located in the heart of Kenosee Village, the Moose Mountain Brewing Co. features a varied menu and micro-brewery with a sports bar theme.   An adjacent restaurant accommodates those not of drinking age.  Moose Mountain Brewing Co. opens daily at 11:00 a.m. (12:00 p.m. on Sundays - CLOSED Mondays and Tuesdays in the winter).  Phone:  (306) 577-2110.

Kenosee Cabins

These light-housekeeping, rental cabins are located in the Village of Kenosee Lake.  This facility, like all rental accommodation in Kenosee Lake village, is privately owned and operated.  Phone:  (306) 577-2110.

 

Kenosee Mini-Mart and Motel

Located on the shores of Kenosee Lake in the centre of the village, Kenosee Mini-Mart and Motel features an ice cream parlour, sandwich shop, and bakery.  It supplies gas, groceries and propane and movie rentals.  Motel rooms are also available.  Phone:  (306) 577-2264.

Moosehead Inn

The home of the famous Moosehead Pizza is located next to the Mini-Mart and Motel in the village of Kenosee Lake.  The main floor houses a fine dining restaurant with a nautical theme.   The upper floor has a night club and cabaret.  Closed January - May.  Phone:  (306) 577-2226.

Cannington Manor Provincial Park

If you are interested in history, make sure your holiday includes a visit to Cannington Manor Provincial Park, located approximately 25 minutes southeast of Moose Mountain.  During the summer, park staff, in period dress, are on hand to guide you through the village.  Browse the buildings and newly renovated Visitor Centre located in this partially restored historic English settlement from the 1880’s.  Phone:  (306) 739-5251 (summer) or (306) 577-2600 (winter).

White Bear Lake Golf Course

Located 8 km south of the park, this 18-hole, championship course is rated highly by the Saskatchewan Golf Association, and famous for its white silica sand bunkers and white birch forest.

 

Bear-Claw Casino

A full service casino, located between the park and Carlyle, it offers 150 slot machines, Blackjack, Progressive Slots, Phil-em-up and Texas Hold’em Poker, restaurant, lounge and gift shop.
