Saskatchewan Parks - Rowan's Ravine
Saskatchewan Parks - Wake Up Your Senses

Looking for a double scoop of summertime fun?  How about sunning, swimming or parasailing at one of the biggest natural beaches in southern Saskatchewan?  Or maybe you’d prefer to troll for trophy walleye, sail down 100-km-long Last Mountain Lake or gather the gang for a round of beach volleyball, baseball or mini-golf?

Rowan’s Ravine Provincial Park, less than an hour northwest of Regina, offers a wide array of summertime recreational opportunities.

Those who prefer fixed-roof accommodations might consider the camping cabins right beside the marina, a superb 85-slip arrangement with overnight or full-season mooring.  A store and boat gas are close at hand and there’s a licensed restaurant overlooking the lake.

Terra-firma fans can watch for whitetail and mule deer on the native prairie hiking trail.  If you’re a fan of winged wildlife and efforts to preserve it, you won’t want to miss Last Mountain Lake National Wildlife Area.  Established in 1887, this bird sanctuary at the north end of the lake is the oldest in North America!

Wake up your senses!  Come and play at Rowan’s Ravine Provincial Park.
