Heritage Conservation Grant ProgramChurch of All Saints - Cannington Manor
Heritage resources, from small objects and paper documents to archaeological sites and building, require specialized treatment to ensure their long-term conservation. Financial assistance is provided for preserving, conserving or restoring many kinds of heritage resources, including artifacts, documents, photographs, film, buildings, structures and heritage districts. Heritage Promotion and Education Grant ProgramManitou Walking Tour Financial assistance is available for undertaking studies to promote heritage resources in a community or region, or to develop educational heritage programs. Projects in this category may also include the production of posters, brochures, walking / driving tour guides, audio / visual presentations, and conferences, seminars and workshops relating to Saskatchewan's history and prehistory. Heritage Publications Grant Program"Legacy of Stone" by Marg Hryniuk, Frank Korvemaker and Larry Easton This program assists individuals and organizations in publishing new, well-documented material on the history, pre-history and heritage resources of Saskatchewan. The grant assists with printing costs. Applicants must provide a printed copy of a draft manuscript. This must be a final, edited version of the manuscript, from which all factual and typographical errors have been eliminated. Click here for a copy of the detailed program guidelines. Special Heritage Projects Grant Program![]() Aboriginal Cemetery Conference To develop innovative ways of addressing key issues in heritage conservation in Saskatchewan, the Heritage Foundation is interested in supporting and working in partnership with projects that develop or experiment with new approaches, ideas or techniques. This program will enable the Foundation, in concert with other government agencies, non-profit organizations and individuals to adopt a proactive position on important issues relating to both the cultural and natural heritage of the province.
