About Provincial Parks Camping at Saskatchewan Landing Survey ResultsThe survey collected information to evaluate a 14-night maximum length of stay pilot study (an effort to ensure more Saskatchewan residents and visitors have access to campsites) at Saskatchewan Landing Provincial Park (SLPP). The survey obtained campers' perceptions of a maximum length of stay at SLPP and provides further clarity regarding the potential impacts and outcomes of implementing a maximum length of stay at SLPP. The pilot project designated 54 campsites in Sagebrush Campground, which had been upgraded to electric for the 2009 season, as maximum stay sites. Campers who registered in these designated sites were limited to maximum stays of 14 consecutive nights during the peak camping season of June 24, 2009 through to September 7, 2009. There were no maximum stay restrictions in SLPP's other campgrounds. The survey report presents the results from the 611 respondents who completed the survey (response rate: 58.8 per cent). The Ministry of Tourism, Parks, Culture and Sport is very grateful to all of the respondents for taking the time to participate in the survey.
