Newly upgraded electric sites, 200-219 in Bearpaw Campground will opened on Monday, June 8, 2009. These sites are part of the Reserve-a-Site program. Saskatchewan Landing Maximum Night Campground Stay Pilot ProjectThis pilot project designates 54 campsites, recently upgraded to electric, as maximum-stay sites in Sagebrush Campground. Campers who register in these sites are limited to stays of no more than 14 consecutive nights during the peak camping season of Wednesday, June 24 to Monday, September 7, 2009. This ruggedly beautiful park of steep hills, razorback ridges, wooded ravines and native prairie celebrates an historic crossing on the South Saskatchewan River first used by generations of Indian and Métis bison hunters. Later, it became the site of a steamboat landing and ferry crossing that serviced traffic on the historic Battleford Trail. Once you have settled in, you can kick back and relax on the beach, harness the breeze with a thrilling run on a windsurfer or try your luck angling for some of the 11 species of game fish available in this most popular fishing lake in Saskatchewan. All the campsites in the Reserve-a-Site program at Saskatchewan Landing are electirc sites. The Reserve-a-Site program is now open; however, all sites in the Reserve-a-Site program at Saskatchewan Landing are now booked from June 26 to August 16, inclusive. Saskatchewan Landing has four campgrounds, with Bearpaw being the largest. The campgrounds features two modern service centres with hot showers, one with laundry facilities, playground structures, fresh water, dumping stations, and more. Each campsite contains a picnic table and fire pits. Fire wood is provided. Four Campgrounds with 279 sites. Group Camping
Saskatchewan Landing has 1 group campground area that can be reserved for group functions or family reunions. A minimum of 5 camping units in the site is required to reserve this area. Seasonal camping is available at this park in 2009. The sites are distributed through a lottery system. The seasonal camping draw is now complete for this year; successful applicants will be notified. Thank you for your interest in the seasonal camping program. The Seasonal Camping rates and rules are available here. Due to construction in the Sagebrush Campground for 2009 the non electric sites allocated to the seasonal camping program at Saskatchewan Landing will be available in the Nighthawk Campground. All sites in Nighthawk Campground are designated as seasonal sites (these sites are without service centre).
