The trail management Agreement between the Government of Saskatchewan and the Saskatchewan Snowmobile Association (SSA) outlines the responsibilities of the SSA to maintain the snowmobile trail system in Saskatchewan and to promote safe snowmobiling.  The previous three-year Agreement expired in March 2009.

The new five-year Agreement includes a number of recommendations from the recent Long-Term Sustainability Plan for the Saskatchewan Snowmobile Sector review.  The Agreement includes greater management, accountability and reporting requirements, intended to improve the safety, quality and efficiency of the snowmobile trail system in Saskatchewan.
