Archaeological Resource Management (ARM) administers regulatory provisions of The Heritage Property Act concerned with protecting and managing archaeological and palaeontological heritage, including land development review, impact assessment and investigation permitting. ARM also maintains a comprehensive provincial inventory of archaeological and palaeontological sites, and conducts research in support of archaeological resource management and heritage property designation. Principal clients include: private and public sector land developers, provincial regulatory and approval agencies, the environmental and archaeological heritage consulting industry, archaeological heritage organizations, and professional and avocational researchers.
