artsVest is a sponsorship training and matching incentive program of Business for the Arts, run in Saskatchewan with funding from Canadian Heritage and this ministry with in-kind support from SaskCulture Inc.

The Government of Saskatchewan has invested $250,000 each year for two years ($500,000), which is matched by Canadian Heritage, to run the pilot program.

artsVest is a core program of Business for the Arts.  Its objectives are to:

  • stimulate business investment and sponsorship in arts, culture and heritage on a local level through matching incentive funds and fostering mutually-beneficial partnerships;
  • build capacity within the arts, culture and heritage sector through sponsorship training workshops; and
  • facilitate collaborative relationships between the public, private and culture sector at a local level through community build events (networking).

artsVest supports capacity building and economic growth and development, two of the goals featured in Pride of Saskatchewan, our province’s cultural policy.
