 Attention Canoeists and Kayakers

Tourism, Parks, Culture and Sport is conducting a survey and we need your help. Your input will provide valuable information for organizations that provide canoeing and kayaking-related programs and services in the province, as well as help government improve users' water-based recreation experiences within Lac La Ronge Provincial Park, while protecting the natural and cultural values of the park.  Click here for more information on the survey.

Route Notes and Updates

Please note:

  • The Canoe Trip information contained in any of the Canoe Trip Guides below is not necessarily current.  As conditions in nature change as a result of weather, overuse, etc. ... canoeists are advised to use the information provided with caution and at their own risk.
  • Lac La Ronge Canoe Routes - a 2006 fire burned through a number of canoe routes within Lac La Ronge Provincial Park.  You may experience fallen trees over some portages.
  • We are in the process of updating the maps, as some of the highway information has changed.  Please refer to a Saskatchewan road map in planning your trip, to ensure that you are accessing the correct roads.  Thank-you for your patience.
