Saskatchewan Provincial Parks received a $5 million boost for 2008-09. Enhancements, such as an additional 1,000 electrified campsites over the next four years, will help meet visitor demand and improve camping opportunities and experiences.

How We Support Saskatchewan's Youth

Tourism, Parks, Culture and Sport is delighted to be taking a lead role within government in working with the youth of Saskatchewan. The ministry was created in part to show youth that government understands their importance to Saskatchewan's economic future and to its quality of life. We are working to make government's relationship with young people stronger, more interactive, and more responsive to what youth themselves are saying they need from government.

		Provincial Youth Advisory Committee (PYAC) Young people across Saskatchewan have great ideas and are determined to create positive change in their communities. Tourism, Parks, Culture and Sport is proud to support youth innovation and leadership and place decision making in the hands of youth.

		Youth Employment Policy The Student Employment Experience (SEE) program, which is managed by the Ministry of Advanced Education, Employment and Labour, offers Saskatchewan students employment opportunities to prepare for their future while working to enhance our province.
